We Used to Live Here av Marcus Kliewer - lovende start, men seigt mot slutten

Thomas shook his head. "We've long overstayed our time limit, kiddo."

He motioned his family toward the foyer. But as they filed out, he lingered

behind, hands in his pockets, eyes still on the basement door.

I have a gift for you, Teddy.

Teddy stopped at the center of the staircase. He couldn't

help but look over his shoulder, as if the shadow was just a

step above him, whispering in his ears. Teddy was still get-

ting used to a lot of things, the shadow included.

Take Your Turn, Teddy er en psykologisk horror som ble utgitt i 2020 og er en den sterkeste horror boka jeg har lest så langt i år.

Whisper Down the Lane av Clay McLeod Chapman - spennende og provoserende tema

Was Sean really that interesting? Were the things he said actually

that special? Miss Kinderman always made him feel special. The

things he said were noteworthy, she explained.

People did say, when photographs first appeared,

that there was danger in having your image captured.

Part of your soul would remain forever imprisoned in

that glass lens. Sit for too many and you might be ...

depleted. More alive in the photograph than in real life.

     "Let's start with your bedroom."

Carol wished she could view it that way, but it was a bit

difficult when your life and sanity were being threatened.

Jeg la ikke merke til navnet Catherine Cavendish før i fjor, da jeg kom over The Garden of Bewitchment, og det ga mersmak.

Let's Go Play at the Adams' av Mendal W. Johnson - sørgelig lesing

The girl's face was pale and stern and distant. If Barbara

had been able to speak to her, she would not have been sure

of getting an answer at all.

Jake once said, "Sometimes a thought is closer to truth, to reality, than an action. You can say anything, you can do anything, but you can't fake a thought."
You can't fake a thought. And this is what I'm thinking.
It worries me. It really does. Maybe I should have known how it was going to end for us. Maybe the end was written right from the beginning.

Ingen tanker er falske ...
